I'm not talking about a revival meeting in a megachurch; I'm talking about just an average day on the Obama campaign trail.

Now, in a desperate attempt to woo Christians to the left, a PAC called "The Matthew 25 Network" has cropped up to cast B. Hussein Obama in a holy light. Not like Louis Farrakhan did when he dubbed B. Hussein the Islamic Messiah, oh no. M25N wants to bless Obama in a more, shall we say, Judeo-Christian fashion.

One might be tempted to ask how a Christian PAC go about appropriating Matthew 25, a chapter about unprepared Virgin Brides with no oil for their lamps, paranoid servants making unwise investments, and the Messiah separating the sheep from the goats at the second coming, to endorse Barack Obama.

Sure, the organization performs some quick exegesis, taking from the chapter one verse that comes in handy, in this case, verse 40: "The King will say to them, 'Yes! I tell you that whenever you did these things for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did them for me!'," a verse rich in moral teaching when placed in perspective. But, one might inquire as to the relevance of verse 41 that reads: "Then he will also speak to those on his left saying, 'Get away from me, you who are cursed! Go off into the fire prepared for the Adversary and his angels!'"

Somehow, interpreting that verse in light of the current political climate might cause more than one Bible-believing voter to think twice before associating the most left-leaning Senator in this nation's history with Jesus Christ.

And yet, that is exactly the association a Matthew 25 Network representative made this morning on CNN. "Barack Obama's got a Jesus story," were his exact words.

A "Jesus Story"? What exactly is a "Jesus Story" anyway? As far as I know, there is only one Jesus Story because there is only one Jesus. I happen to think of Him as an Israeli carpenter from Judea who fulfilled the prophetic words in Torah (Genesis 22) and the prophets (Isaiah 53) regarding the Messiah who would come to redeem Israel and the nations.

Liberals, however, happen to think of him as an African-American who grew up as a Muslim in Indonesia, purposefully surrounded himself with "radicals" including "Marxist professors" during his college years, and whose ideology fulfills the Marxist axiom, "From each according to his ability to each according to his needs."

Now there's a guy to whom I want to bow.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), concerned over reported incidents targeting Jewish students at Parkway West Middle School in the suburbs of St. Louis MO, will meet with school officials on October 24 to discuss implementing an anti-bias education and response. A number of Jewish students at the school were hit by fellow classmates during the week October 12-18 on what the students called "Hit a Jew Day."

Yesterday, during the 6pm news hour FOX News's Brit Hume reported on Palin's interview with Focus on the Family founder Dr. James Dobson:

The GOP Vice-Presidential nominee said that she gains strength from the supporters she meets on rope lines at campaign events, “I can feel the power of prayer, and that strength that is provided through our prayer warriors across this nation. And I so appreciate it.”

The interview focused almost entirely on religion and Palin told Dobson that her “Christian faith” is her “foundation” and that in regard to the outcome of the election it is “all in God’s hands.”

Thank you.  Oh, thank you Sarah.  Thank you for being the one public figure to acknowledge the total truth of what is going on here and Who is really in charge.  Baruch haShem (and for those of you who don't speak HSL--Hebrew as a Second Language--that's a good ol' fashioned way of saying Praise the Lord). 

It doesn't take a PhD in Divinity for someone to see that Sarah Palin is the Hadassah--the Queen Esther--of the hour for this nation.  We have a responsibility to follow her lead and pray-- pray for the campaign, and pray for God's mercy, because He is the One who puts leaders on their thrones and He is the one who intervenes for the sake of the righteous.  Just ask Abraham.

Dave the Mailman and I were talking today and it occurred to me how little faith the Obama campaign puts in the American voter.  Think about it:

• The media spends the past 18 months painting him as a god.  Seriously, before the primaries were even in full swing I can recall Tina Fey talking about Barack Obama on 30 Rock.  And given that the TV season last year lasted about 6 weeks, we're talking a good year ago, when most Americans were still confusing Obama with Osama.
• NBC and its sister cable networks have been openly called out for being biased in Obama's favor.  CNN's Campbell Brown practically harasses a McCain campaign rep during an interview.  ELLEN has Obama and Biden on for guest spots.  The ladies of THE VIEW (minus Hasselback) drool over Michelle Obama's dress and giggle at Barack like a bunch of schoolgirls while they try their best to tear John and Cindy McCain to shreds.  Obama has now purchased a load of network airtime days before the election effectively redefining the term BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU. 
• ACORN is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to liberal voting fraud.  Rich libs are squatting in Ohio in moves unseen since the days before the Civil War, when confederates would run the borders between Missouri and Kansas to ensure slave-state status.
• Sarah Silverman has Gen-X Jews flying to Boca for the weekend to fool bubbes and zaydes who saw the Holocaust happen into thinking that a guy named Hussein really gives a fig about Jews and Israel.
• Barack Obama has yet to give a solid answer to one single question being asked about his connections to Ayers, Rezko, Alinsky, and the Gaza t-shirt boys.  Perhaps we need Yentl the Yenta to ask him a question or two when he goes to shake hands for the cameras in Williamsburg (New York, not VA).
  

These are only a few examples of the gross tactics being used not only to fool the American people, but to take away their sacred right to vote for their own leaders.  They don't trust that you will put your trust in Obama's authority-- that is why they are trying their best to usurp your own-- to fool you into trusting and even idolizing their man while, at the same time, doing all they can to take away your ability to make your own decision.  This is how dictators are empowered.

Barack H. Obama is condescending.  His patronizing attitude reveals a good deal about liberal elitism.  First, it was God and guns.  Now, he's attacking the same voters he's trying to win over, and at the 11th hour, no less!

On the FOX REPORT with Shepard Smith they screened footage from an Obama rally at which he declared, "So he's taking his economic advice from a plumber?  How many plumbers do you know who make a quarter-of-a-million dollars a year?"

As an employee of a small business (not related to plumbing) I can tell you that yes, John McCain is correct: the majority of small businesses do bring in around the $250,000 mark. 

As an employee of a small business whose owner's son in law is a plumber I can tell you that yes, plumbers do make good money.  Darn good money.  They make "I wish I had skipped college and went for vo-tech school" kind of money.  Yes, Barack; plumbers can and often do make "a quarter-of-a-million dollars" a year.

Right now, the news channels are filled with shots of Obama in white tie and tails speaking at some memorial dinner in New York.  Gee, I hope they bought the produce wholesale; in the words of Barack, "Anybody gone into Whole Foods lately and see what they charge for arugula? I mean, they're charging a lot of money for this stuff."

Why is it that Marxists, who supposedly lay claim to the politics of the proletariat, are always completely out of touch with the people?  Possibly because their real goal is to rule over the people they supposedly want to empower. 

Barack Obama wants to empower the economy by redistributing this nation's wealth-- taking directly out of your pocket to pay someone else's bills. 

Barack Obama wants to empower the constituents by taking away their rights-- to their wallets, to their health care, yes, even to their guns and their worship-- because in an Obama administration, no one would make the decisions (no one would be god) but Barack.   And no one would have the ability to fight his power.

Right now, the Democrats are banking on an Obama Presidency and a Democrat majority in Congress.

Hitler was elected into power right along with his party.

In the meantime, the FBI is investigating liberal-funded and fueled ACORN voter fraud; the mainstream media continues to conduct and report on totally biased polling samples that openly favor registered Democrats and African Americans, among other minority groups perceived to be "pro-Obama"; liberals are busy denouncing any critique of Obama or perceived lack of idol-worship as "racist."  How much confidence does the Obama campaign have in the decision-making ability of the American voter?  Zilch.  Zip.  None.  If they did, they wouldn't have to try so hard to rig the election. 

They don't trust you to think for yourself, nor to draw your own conclusions, America.  The Obama campaign doesn't trust you to spend your money, insure, or educate yourself properly, either.  That's why they want Barack Obama and his buddies in Congress to do it all-- because to them, the Liberal Elites, you aren't smart enough to take care of yourself, your family, or your country.

Right now, the authority is in the hands of the American people.

Let's keep it that way.

BTW, 48-hours later and the Obama campaign still hasn't denounced Jesse Jackson's anti-Israel, anti-Jewish statements.  Sure, they've distanced themselves, but they have not actually denounced what Jesse Jackson said as wrong.  Gee, I wonder why.  Maybe the campaign is afraid there might be a bomber among them?

John McCain ended up coming off as the really nice, honorable guy.  He emphasized the need for voters to trust who they elect.  Trust is a key issue-- we need to talk that up more.

Obama is still a smug narcissist.  Seriously, "Worst economic crisis since the Great Depression"?  Please.  No wonder he'd like to drum that up-- FDR implemented socialist policies and let Hitler rise to power thanks to a Depression.  Obama wishes.

Conclusion: We have a responsibility as voters to make Obama's Marxist attitude and connections an issue on election day.  And we make it an issue with our vote.  Get out there and keep talking!

Yeah, I know, Ann rubs a lot of people the wrong way.  She's unforgivingly partisan and sarcastic to boot.  But if it weren't for her sheer honesty and boldness, I might never have become a conservative.  Besides, we're looking at a socialist running for President: We NEED BOLD.  NOW. 

Dear Senator,

I am joining with your fellow supporters in this plea: 

Please, ask Obama to openly and fully define his associations with Ayers, Rezko, and Wright! 

Please, ask Obama why the Syrian regime is already sending personal invitations to his foreign policy advisers, Robert Maly, Daniel Kurtz and Hernando de Soto!    

Please, ask Obama if he, as the #2 recipient of Fannie and Freddie’s dollars, is willing to return the money to help pay off this massive debt these organizations effectively handed over to the taxpayers!

Senator, I ask you to raise these questions for the millions of Americans who do not have the same opportunity you do to stand face-to-face with your opponent before the American people.  Every worker in this country has earned a job, a promotion, or even a career based on good character references.  Why should Obama expect or be permitted a lesser level of scrutiny? 

Please, Senator McCain: Be our HR Rep.  We’re the bosses; we decide who wins the most important job in this country.  Please, get us the answers we need in order to make the right decision.

Tonight begins the Jewish fast of Yom Kippur.  We gather together as a community to ask G-d for His mercy in forgiving our sins and blessing us with another year of life.  Quick Biblical reference is Leviticus 23.

This year, Yom Kippur isn't just a Jewish thing.

Our nation is in serious need of G-d's mercy.  We've got a "friend to the terrorists" running for President of the United States.  Nothing is more serious than the possibility of a Hussein in the White House.

That's why I'm asking everyone who reads this blog--Jewish or not--to participate in a night of prayer and fasting for America.  Since Yom Kippur starts at sundown, it can be as simple as skipping your nightly snack and humbling yourself for a few minutes before G-d in honest prayer.

Our nation is at stake.  Can we do at least that much to help?

Pass it along to your friends, your family, your Pastors, and your Rabbis: tonight is a night to get serious before the Almighty and pray for this nation, to sacrifice a meal so we don't have to sacrifice our lives to the threat of a socialized government and anti-American ideologies both here and abroad receiving carte blanche from the highest office in the land.

FYI:  I put this research paper together about 4 years ago when I first got into politics.  I had just graduated with my M.S. in Radio, TV & Film and, sickened by the tenents of academia, I dove into books like Bernie Goldberg's BIAS and Ann Coulter's SLANDER which inevitably led to things like Whittaker Chambers's WITNESS and the Constitution of the United States (which I apparently know more about than do certain Senators named Joe Biden).  After about 6 months of intensive reading and research into the past 100 -150 years of what has now been termed "conservative" and "liberal" ideologies, I came up with this quick'n'dirty timeline leading up to the 2004 election.  It covers everything from Marxism to Margaret Sanger, abortion to atheism, communism to Clinton. 

I'd like to think of it as a helpful resource for those limited on time- you know, us working folks who actually run this country.  (May it always be so.)
